Signs By Benchmark recently collaborated with Toth’s Sports (Victor, N.Y.) to create an exterior, double-sided custom integrated monument sign. The 12′ 10″ long x 8′ 4″ high x 32 1/4″ deep single-sided monument provides modern elegance to the existing structure’s traditional architecture. A one-color acrylic stucco finish is flanked by two faux brick columns handcrafted to match existing building brick. Gemini® lettering supplies the perfect finishing touch.
After prepping the site by installing poles according to the placement template sent earlier by Signs By Benchmark, the Toth’s Sports team quickly and easily installed the sign by following Signs By Benchmark’s integrated sign installation system.
First, the lower section of the sign was lowered onto the existing poles. This set the stage for step #2 – installing the electronic message center (EMC).
The EMC was placed atop the lower section, fitting neatly between the poles. Once wiring connections were established using the built-in mounting provisions, it was on to step #3.
To encase the EMC, the upper portion of the sign consisting of a top and two flanking columns was lowered down over the poles. The result? A sealed, solid, beautiful unit of which the installation proved what one sign shop representative said “is the best integration installation system out there.”
