Custom Sign Ensures Visibility

Asked to provide signage that would call attention to a church in Maple Grove Minn., Sign-A-Rama turned to Signs By Benchmark. The resulting sign was a customization of Signs By Benchmark’s standard model #15.

Customizing the sign required several design revisions as the customer’s expectations developed. “We had a lot of communication when it came to getting what the customer wanted,” stated Robert Thomas of Sign-A-Rama. “The designers at Signs By Benchmark never hesitated and made revisions on fairly short notice. This response allowed a good flow between us and the customer.”

One design challenge was creating an embossed representation of the church’s logo. “Our customer was concerned about how the logo would turn out,” said Thomas, “but when they saw the sign, they were blown away.”

Measuring  7′ wide X 8′ 7″ high X 20″ deep, the double sided sign features embossed lettering and a panel insert for posting variable meeting times. A bright accent color helps the sign stand out as a beacon for the Church.

“Our people love the sign and I’m sure it will increase visibility of Elm Creek Church,” notes a thank you card from the church to Sign-A-Rama.
