Working from submitted designs, Signs By Benchmark artisans went to work creating two 13′ 11″ wide x 10′ 7″ high x 38″ deep one-sided, monument style signs. The flexibility of their medium lent itself to creation of hand-sculpted faux stone bases and columns. Attachable three dimensional, embossed logo accents were created separately for ease of shipping. Internal raceways were manufactured into each sign to accept wiring for the reverse-lit channel lettering that would be solar powered. Because each sign required different pole centers due to electrical issues, both signs were universal, allowing installation at either site.

Prior to shipping, all components were sprayed with Signs By Benchmark’s signature hard coat, then painted. Upon receiving the signs, JH Signs & Designs placed wiring, then mounted letters and logo accents just prior to installing a sign at each community entrance.

“We were amazed at how light the signs were compared to their size,” said Helmke. “The installation process went very well.”
