The International Sign Expo, sponsored by the International Sign Association (ISA) is the largest sign show in the world. With more than 20,000 annual attendees, this year’s ISA show will have more than 2000 exhibitors displaying their work for thousands to see, including Signs By Benchmark.
Signs By Benchmark, a division of Benchmark Foam, has been preparing for the ISA show for several weeks. The show begins next Thursday, April 16 in Las Vegas. A team of four will be representing Signs By Benchmark, including Division Manager Matt Frey.
“We worked at designing an innovative booth that shows our audience the variety of products we provide, but at the same time, attracting new business,” Frey said.
To show audiences how attractive and useful their products can be they designed several different pieces that can be utilized to enhance your current product lines.
The showcase sign is an integrated design with an engineered-stone base. Two LCD displays are mounted similar to how an Electronic Message Center (EMC) would be displayed. Another display shows how you can take a standard illuminated sign cabinet and add Signs By Benchmark accents, such as a faux brick pole cover or a custom crown-shaped sign topper, and turn it into a unique display – for a fraction of the cost of traditional materials. They designed a literature display, that could also be used as a desk or reception table that provides great storage in a pleasing display.
Signs By Benchmark also designed and produced a 7-foot tall Amp can, the trademark energy drink of Pepsi Company. The can highlights how they control the entire process – from molding to finishing. They produced the foam core in the shape of a can and sanded, coated and painted it to the exact look of an Amp can. Elite Signs & Graphix, in Watertown, S.D., printed and installed the vinyl wrap that completes the Amp graphics. The end project can be used in a variety of ways – including Point-of-Purchase displays (POPs), outdoor advertising and trade show events.
